The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (1954) is one of the most iconic sports cars ever built. Known for its dramatic gullwing doors and sleek, aerodynamic shape, it was the fastest production car of its time.
Built with a lightweight tubular spaceframe chassis, the doors had to open upward—creating its signature look.
